Ready, Set, Spin
These 3D printed drop spindles, made from PLA plastic (made primarily from cornstarch) are an eco-friendly material which ensures a precise, but durable whorl that will biodegrade faster than similar plastics. Paired with a premium quality carbon shaft, these spindles will spin straight and true for the entirety of their lifetime.
CARE AND HANDLING
All 3D Orbital spindles boast the durability to travel wherever you do, however it is best to remove to whorl from the shaft during transportation. A slight twist will break the whorl free if it becomes tight. PLA, being a thermoplastic, may deform if temperatures reach above 100ºC. Be weary of leaving your spindle in a sweltering car. The outer weights are designed to be non-removable and will not stay in their sockets if constantly removed. To clean, use a soft cloth or wash in cold water.
